We are committed to excellent communication, high-quality training and professional development for our staff.
Staff members are provided with a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing training related to their role, and the opportunity to shadow experienced members of staff.
The Care Certificate is a new set of standards that our care workers use in their daily working life.
It represents the minimum standards that should be covered as part of the induction and training of new care workers. In addition to the Care Certificate and mandatory training for care workers, we also provide training around specific conditions such as Dementia, Stroke, and End of Life Care.
We ensure that all staff members are given regular training updates throughout their employment with us, and we continually identify areas of further training that will enhance our team’s skills and ultimately provide better services.
Staff can also be trained in specialized tasks to meet the needs of the individuals that they work with, for example, artificial feeding and the giving of emergency treatments.
Our Care & Support staff are offered the opportunity to develop further by completing their NVQ 2, NVQ 3, or Diploma in Health and Social Care.
